Who Am I...Really?
Ever wonder who you really are?  One day you're sure you have it all together, and you're confident no one can beat the stuff you use...
and the next day you've changed your mind about something so important you wonder if you know the real you!  You are your personality--
the sum total of the things you believe, the things you value and the things you've experienced.

Take the personality assessment below and let's see who you are!
There are 4 basic and distinct personality types.  The Mission chooses to use flowers
to denote the personality types.  Identify your personality type, your basic character,
and allow us to help you to use that information to ensure success in your professional
and personal relationships.  Read the descriptions below and
quickly decide which
"flower" is most like you are.
The four flowers represent the four
basic personality types as identified by
the widely used Myers-Briggs
personality test.
The Mission uses
the test as an easy and entertaining
way to begin to understand yourself
and others.  Understanding others and
their characteristics, and how or why
you react to them as you do, is the
basis for harmonious and solid
relationships.

For over 4 centuries, social scientists
have used the theory of character
assessment to determine how people
behave in: childhood, school,
employment, romance...and in matters
of conflict.

The Mission's Life Coaches see
their relationship with the people they
coach as being a lot like raising
flowers.  As they counsel with people,
they plant seeds of hope in an effort to
bring healing.  Through repeat
counseling or program sessions, the
coaches provide the ingredients
needed to bring about the wonderful
blossoming that occurs.  While
The
Mission
represents the soil in which
the flower (client) is planted, it is the
caring concern of the
Life Coaches
which acts as the special fertilizer that
grows the flower to a condition ready
for blooming.  It is
God Himself,
however, who unfolds the bloom.

   TRADITIONAL TULIP

STYLE:         Service/Responsible

Motto:       "I will do the right thing,

I will get the job done."

Key Words:    Uses action words

    --People can count on me.
    --My actions are predictable.
--I am always ready for tomorrow.
--I am loyal, giving, and like to
      take care of others.
    --I need to be useful.
    --I am practical and sensible.
--I value home and family and
have a strong sense of right
      and wrong.
    --I follow rules and authority.

With Special Friends:  I prefer
people who are careful with their
money and who make plans ahead
of time.  I like my dates to be loyal,
dependable, and on time.  I am
serious about love and show it in
practical ways.

With Family:  I like stability and
security and enjoy traditions and
frequent celebrations.  I like to
spend holidays with family
members and work on plans for
such gatherings months in
advance.

Spiritually:  The traditional tulip
would be "the feet" of the body, able
to get things going and to
administer.  Out-going, optimistic,
able to communicate openly with
people, although when leading is
somewhat impatient.
         EXCITING POPPIES

STYLE:            Fun and adventure

Motto:         "All for one, one for all"

Key Words:   Says let's go; we, us.

--I like action!  To go for it on a
      moment's notice.
--I see life as a game, in which I
must do it here and now.
--I act on impulse, I like
adventure, I like to compete and
I am usually skills in what I do.
    --I like fun, change and
       excitement.
--I live life to the limit and have a
      cheerful outlook.
--I learn by doing and am a
      natural troubleshooter.

With Special Friends:  Planning
ahead bores me because I never
know what I want to do until the
moment arrives.  I like things and
places that are different.  I like to
surprise my dates with difference,
even different romantic moments.

With Family:  I need a lot of space
and freedom.  I want everyone to
have fun, and not be held back by
restraints.  It is hard for me to
follow rules, and I feel we should
all just enjoy one another.

Spiritually:  The exciting and never
boring "Poppy"
 would be "the
mouth" of the body.  Liking to talk,
teach, volunteer and be helpful.
Of
great encouragement  to the other
members of the body.  Will turn
any simple task into an event.
          EXOTIC LILY

STYLE:                                Analytic

Motto:         "If we're going to do it,

     let's do it right!"

Key Words:          Critical Details

    --I am curious, will investigate,
and like to form my own ideas.
--I like to look at the big picture.
--I am cool, calm and collected.
--I like to be smart and enjoy
      activities that require problem
      solving.
    --I value intelligence, insight,
      fairness and justice.
--I like to set my own standards,
      and I enjoy seeking
      fundamental truths.

With Special Friends:  To most
people I seem cool and without
emotion.  I don't like emotionally
lead behavior.  I do not want any
complex relationships.  Talking
about  feelings causes doubt.

With Family:  I am probably seen
as a loner because I like a lot of
private time to think.  I find family
activities boring for the most part
and I have difficulty following the
family rules that don't make
sense.

Spiritually:  The Exotic Lily is the
"mind" of the body.  The thinker,
the analyzer, the one who does
not search out excitement, but
looks for best plan of action.
Like the beauty and value of a
thing, church program, style.

would be the  "hands" of the
body. Made to serve, to smooth
and to soothe.  Likes to keep the

The Apostle Paul compares the church to a body, in which Christ is the head.  See: Ephesians 4:16.

"Now, God has set the members everyone of them in the body, as it has pleased Him." See: I Cor. 12:18
